Perfect | Maternity Studio Photography

(www.bambiniphoto.sg)I watched online photography seminars as a past-time, and I always hear this word many pro photographers (my colleagues and boss too!) say as a remark while shooting – “Perfect”

It used to baffle me because logically there isn’t anything perfect, and we’re supposed to celebrate excellence over perfectionism – until I caught myself sub-consciously telling my client, “That’s great, perfect!”

Then I think I understood, it’s perfect because what’s going on before our camera and what we’re ready to capture is exactly how we have envisioned it in our minds – and as I was looking at these set of images my colleague shot and I thought, it’s perfect =) The fabric we use for maternity photoshoots flowed so beautifully on her, creating those little waves and how the light highlighted mummy’s face and how her hands are positioned over her baby bump – just the way we love the maternity images we create to look.

Critical people will still have critical words to say, but hey, no hating here – we love these, and we hope you love them just the same as we do =)

Family Tree | Newborn Studio Photography

This is a continuation from the newborn photography post we published a while ago.

Only this time we have the whole clan spanning four generations in one family shot.

It is heartwarming having witness this family from great-grandmothers to the great grand-child.

It is not often that we are graced by the presence of formidable golden age women in our studio.

“All of us grow up in particular realities- a home, family, a clan, a small town, a neighborhood. Depending upon how we’re brought up, we are either deeply aware of the particular reading of reality into which we are born , or we are peripherally aware of it.” – Chaim Potok

It must be wonderful to grow up in a family with this myriad of characters around.

We’d love to see them again in our studio or even their homes for a another momentous photo session.

‘Yeppuh’ Mama | Maternity Studio Photography

We had to take a second look when this beautiful mama walked into our studio because she bears an uncanny resemblance to the protagonist who acted in the Korean film “200 Pounds beauty”, Kim Ah Joong.

For those of you who had watched it before, you would remember the beautiful actress glowing fair skin, and silky dark mane that complements her stunning look.

We love how this mamma matches the nautical lined skirt with the plain white tube, the contrast was simply mesmerising.

Something that mothers can try next time.

Three Musketeers | Family Studio Photography

“I’ve got my hands full,” laments a mother of three boys

That is something we often hear from parents who have so much three testosterones  males on their plates.

The boys however are always happy and cheery as they have playmates who will entertain them round the clock.

It is adorable witnessing the relationships between three brothers, one will start noticing the roles each takes.

Be it the leader, follower, the rebel and sometimes the nonchalant ones.

We are so happy to see the unity of this family who came into our studio for a family photography session.

The parents of the boys, are already used to the ruckus and mischief facing them, especially after having three wonderful boys.

We can’t wait to see them again in our studio, hopefully in the near future.

Can’t wait what mischief they’ll be up to this time.

Happy Fathers’ Day | Studio, Home & Outdoor Photography

Traditionally, the role of a father in a household is minimal.

In a typical patriarchal society, a father is often taking the role of either the discplinarian and mostly the breadwinner of a family, and almost religiously- a person who is most revered and feared.

Times has since changed and the rule of father has somewhat shifted.

We are in an era where fathers are taking a more active role in their children’s lives.

With more and more women increasingly paving a career in the working world, the men are likewise contributing to the time put in doing their domestics and taking care of their children.

We are featuring images, some featuring the male that spans generation and others are photos of dads and their children that will make you go jelly just from seeing them.

The bond between a child and their father is a special one.

We’ve always admired the relationships between children and their dads which is built on mutual trust and understanding. Something unspoken yet vividly

We’d like to dedicate this day to all fathers out there- old and young alike.
