It is easy to just dismiss the idea for graduation portrait photo shoot. However, Here are 4 reasons why you should totally do it!
4 Reasons Why Graduation Photoshoot Is A Big Deal
1. Avoid Parents’ Nagging
Yes, we know, we have all been there and done that… But really, doing this kills 3 birds with one stone! The shoot includes your solo graduation portrait, family portrait in both formal and semi-formal setting, and lastly your professional headshot. This is now so important as you need it for that linkedin profile photo and CV to increase your chances of being found and also for securing that meeting.
2. Celebrate Your Achievements
We are often pushing ourselves too hard and often forget to celebrate small successes and achievements along the way. Going through the years of education, rushing to meet assignment deadlines, learning teamwork and presentation skills in school is no feat. Remember those late night oil that you’ve been burning during those days? It’s time to celebrate all your hard work! And celebrate it with your family, your rock.
Our youngest graduate to celebrate her graduation with us is a little girl whom we photographed since she was 3 years old. She came back when she was 6 Years old to celebrate her Kindergarten 2 graduation and family shoot before heading to K3 (ahem sorry… Its Primary 1). Scroll down to see her photos!
3. Look Great on An Updated Family Portrait at Home
When was the last time you had your Family Portrait Done? Were you still little in that photo? Are all the family members still there? or there are more addition to the family?
If the family portrait at home isn’t exactly your favourite, it’s the perfect opportunity now to update your family pictures!
4. Please Your Parents
They probably invested lots of their money on your studies, this is the least we can do for them as this is one of the moments parents are extremely proud of their children for achieving this milestone. This is probably one milestone with a wall portrait that will be a conversation piece whenever somebody comes over. Its also a milestone that parents feel they have achieved WITH you.
