1 Year Old & Birthday Photoshoot Packages
Our packages are designed for your child’s milestone and family, so you can photograph your little one on their own as well as with parents and siblings.
Choose from our existing studio looks at no additional charge, with birthday celebration and Cake Smash options available if you’d like something more elaborate.
Packages are based on weekday studio sessions. Weekend sessions and additional family members are available at additional cost.

Most families choose a mix of looks for their session. They usually start with something simple and timeless, adding something more playful or whimsical, and, if they wish, finishing with a birthday celebration or Cake Smash.
We’ll send you our Birthday Celebration Look Book after booking so you can choose your preferred looks before the photoshoot.

You don’t need a cake smash to create a birthday theme portrait.
Birthday Celebration Setup — from $200
Add a more elaborate balloon birthday setup with a large number foil balloon to your photoshoot. This is perfect if you’d like a celebratory look without Cake Smash.
Cake Smash Add On — $399
Finish your photoshoot with a Cake Smash celebration.
Includes a birthday celebration setup, large number foil balloon, complimentary cake and an additional 30 minutes for the Cake Smash.
Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you the available setup and cake choices so you can select your preferences before the session.
What If My Child Doesn’t Smash The Cake?
Babies have their own opinions about cake smash. Some dive straight into the cake, some cautiously poke and investigate it, and others aren’t interested at all.
That’s perfectly fine. A successful birthday photoshoot doesn’t depend on your child smashing the cake. We’ll photograph their natural reaction rather than forcing it.

Your child’s milestone is also a lovely opportunity to update the family portrait.

What Happens During Your Photoshoot?
Before your session, let us know who will be joining. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you the preparation information and look book so you can select your three preferred looks.
During the photoshoot, we’ll photograph your child and family combinations first while everyone is fresh and clean. If you’ve chosen Cake Smash, we’ll introduce it towards the end of the session.
After the photoshoot, your images are prepared for online selection, so you can choose your favourites from home.
