Why Cake Smash?

Since early 2015 and for about 18 months, we had been asked and asked and asked by our clients to offer Cake Smash and as parents, we have thought about it and we have been saying NO to such request… until 18 months later around September 2016…
There are so many things that we consider before offering a particular service or images… We go to great length in talking to our clients, cake decorator, party supplies people, our own photographers, etc. to ensure we are all in line.
As parents, we were worried about the culture of being wasteful… We are mindful of our carbon footprint, we just want to leave this world full of memories… We asked ourselves, is it okay for us to do that?
Then we decide to give it a go and soon realised that it is nothing more than capturing the curiosity of your baby with the fanciful cake that their parents prepared for them with love… so yes, we are good with that. An avenue to capture the thoughts and love that parents’ put in for their children.
As an artist, we often obsess with the our artwork and we think, it is a disrespect to the cake maker… But after a chat with them, they are more than happy to offer people more happiness through their creation… and they are happy when people can enjoy them…
As a photographer, we believe in memories… once we are good with the above… there isn’t anything that is stopping us to offer what our clients have repeatedly requested…
We are sorry we started a little late… but nonetheless we are inspired to be the best of everything we do…Our team has tirelessly prepared what works the best for our clients and we will have something uniquely ours… Thanks for being there with us…
