One-North Park | Family Outdoor Photography

(www.bambiniphoto.sg)Daddy works nearby this park and we had the photoshoot during the weekend, non-office hours! And I must say, it was so nice being in a park and so quiet and serene on a weekend :D And we won’t get people in the background of our photos!
One of the biggest concern we have for outdoor photoshoot is the weather, I mean what do we say to one another almost every other day, especially when we run of out things to say, “The weather is so hot today…” or “It’s been raining everyday!”
haha, yes weather is a big concern, photoshoot or not.

We usually have our photoshoots earlier the day or towards the evening when the sunlight is the best – and feels the best too. And for this photoshoot, we were like checking traffic cameras, texting here and back, looking at the sky… because it was rainy on one side of Singapore, and clearing out the next.

Thankfully, the sun was out and we went ahead with the photoshoot session and the weather stayed brilliant! We also had strong wind, I think I didn’t quite perspire for this photoshoot too… See that blow of wind in the girls’ hair for their individual photos!

haha bad or good weather, we can always work things out! :) Our clients have their photographers’ numbers and we stay in contact to work out any details necessary on the day of the shoot.

Afternoon at the Park | Outdoor Family Photography

We love how the glow of the sun enveloped this family with warmth. Definitely a perfect afternoon for a walk in the park to just relax with the whole family, grandparents included!

(www.bambiniphoto.sg)A visit from grandma and grandpa as baby turns 1, it’s time to celebrate with lots and lots of pictures of this adorable child!

(www.bambiniphoto.sg)With so many expressions (and accessory changes!), the birthday girl was a child photographer’s dream, going between contemplative, sweet and cheeky in seconds!

A Hort, Fun-Filled Afternoon| Family Outdoor Photography

There’s no better way to spend a weekend than enjoying the great outdoors with your family. We got to see Jasmine & Co in their natural element at the Hort Park – a laid-back, fun-loving family with a sense of adventure. We had an absolute blast, and we have pictures to prove it!

The afternoon whizzed by in a mad rush of jumping, playing and exploring, with the children in the lead and the adults trying their best to keep up. Kids really grow up too fast. Make the time to do something you like with people you love. Childhood is made of everyday memories, like family meals, weekends in the park, yearly holidays… A good childhood is the most special and important gift anyone could give (or receive). So go on, go out and make some memories and have an excellent time!

Love in Little India – Part 2 | Family Outdoor Photography

(www.bambiniphoto.sg)White rustic walls! Love all the textured walls you can find in Little India too. It’s really hilarious, seeing how daddy makes baby Judith laugh – and it was probably a work-out for Bryan that day trying to make Judith chuckle for all the photos we wanted to capture. It will always be a challenge photographing kids, but hey, seeing all their smiles and capturing them, makes it all worth while (and I imagine sweating a little helps me ‘keep fit’ too) hahaha

And from what I know, they played with Judith like that – all the more capturing this scene makes it even more special. Kids grow up so fast, we should take more photographs! Yes.

Love in Little India – Part 1 | Family Outdoor Photography

(www.bambiniphoto.sg)I finally got this done!! *dance around* This was kind of a personal project for me and I get to share it now!

I photograph Bryan and Sharon for their engagement, this was 3 years back I think and it was when I was still freelancing and not with Bambini yet. I always love the colours of Little India – all the shophouses and alleyways – but it wasn’t your usual location for a photoshoot, so I didn’t have the opportunity to shoot there till I suggested to this couple and they were willing to take the risk with me and we created this series of images! (which I really love btw)

They were long-time friends with me, and 3 years later, they have baby Judith, who is turning 1 year old, and I’m shooting families and kids in Bambini – AND THEN THIS IDEA! (Because I really like Little India, and it’s not the usual location for family photoshoots either – so this is my chance to go shoot there again, haha)

We head back to Little India, and looked for the exact spot that their engagement photos were taken, and we have Judith with them this time.
Yay! Something different and we had fun in the process and I like how all the photos turned out!
