Hey ho, hail all pirates | Themed Children Photoshoot

It’s not just another day in the studio. While some of us were busy photographing earlier, the doorbell dinged, the new theme set-up we’ve been waiting for has arrived!

After many requests from parents and children we met and photographed, we are happy to announce our latest Pirate-themed photoshoot.

A tale no less familiar to all of us, pirates are always such fun characters to know – with their fiery personas, countless stories of adventures, voyages to seek hidden treasures on their galleon with distinctive Jolly Roger flag.

Children simply love them! And we at Bambini Photography are not immune to it either. How can we not fall in love with courageous swashbucklers who are thirsty for adventures and are masters at navigating the seas?

Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean series have made it all the more irresistible for those who are fans of pirates.

Watch your little one squeal with delight as we pretend to be pirates out on an adventure! – brandishing their choice of swords and fight enemies as they go along – all in a safe environment while being photographed. (Don’t worry, the swords are made of foam and plastic!)

We want to capture your children at their happiest and most natural – that we believe happens when they are most enjoying themselves and having fun! Allowing them to explore and be themselves, that for us, is the greatest achievement.

The Essence of Family | Family Photography

We’d like to take on Tolstoy on his take on ‘family’ but we rather stick to what we know best. After years of taking family photographs, we can safely say that “No one family is the same.”

From our search, the dictionary shows that a family is a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household.

However, things are fast-changing in the modern context.

Families come in all shapes and sizes, numbers, just like ourselves and our dress sizes.

Some families do not live together in one household, because they are separated by seas, circumstances, work. Some families do not have a complete set of parents, due to illnesses, separations, estrangement or even death. Some families are childless choosing to adopt pets as children. Some families are made different. Some families are adopted or fostered.

But all of them are still families!

Being a part of a family means accepting each other’s differences, to protect and respect, to comfort each other in times of happiness and sadness, and to support one another to higher grounds, to share memorable life experiences together and to celebrate moments as one.

Those essences are what make family beautiful- the odds and differences of each character and member of the makeup of a family.

And we love capturing them on camera. To have perfectly encapsulated them in pictures, their frowns, their laughters, their cheekiness, their tears, their care for each other.

Why Photographs matter… | Newborn, Maternity, Family Photography | Bambini Gift Vouchers

“I would part with my wallet, phones and camera but definitely try to negotiate for my memory card”, said a friend, when asked a hypothetical question of what she would do during a tussle with a robber.
