1. Photography Style

Who is the photoshoot for? Sit down with the family and figure out what kind of photo shoot style that you can all agree with.

Do you want traditional posed shots, or something more candid? Do you want everyone in traditional clothing? Or do you want a more casual shoot?

If you have elders in the family, our experience is that they may lean more towards the traditional style of photography. Having said that, our photo studio does have traditional backdrops that enable us to do traditional, formal family portrait, and we can move on to more casual, candid setting in the one session.

It is still therefore important to get consensus from everyone (especially the elders) on the style of photos you want to make the shoot a success.

2. Shoot Location

Singapore is a small island where everywhere you go by car is around 15 to 45 min max. The proximity of the studio to everyone’s home could be something to consider especially if you have small children or elderly relatives with you.

3. Studio and Outdoor?

Again, this is something you’ll want to discuss with the whole family. Some studios only offer one or the other, so be sure to ask.

You would be pleased to know that Bambini Photography can now do both studio and outdoor (with our group’s custom outdoor backdrops) within our air-conditioned studio.

You have the option of doing a mix of indoor and outdoor in our photo studio for extended family photoshoot without the heat, sweat, insects or rain.

Family Portraits

For over a decade, we have been taking family portraits to help families celebrate their milestones and make memories tangible. Each family’s journey is unique; some prioritize maternity and newborn photos, while others take yearly portraits as part of a tradition.

Capturing their 1st year’s milestones for every child. When we look back on the family photos, they serve as reminders of the time that has passed and the growth that has occurred.

Family Portraits – The 1st Year Milestones

For many, the decision to start a family is an important one. 

Experiencing the changes in your body when you’re carrying a baby; Experiencing the unknowns of parenthood can be both adventurous and exciting at the same time. Your baby’s 1st year of growth is the fastest where they hit new milestones every couple of months. These new found skills like being able to roll over on their tummy; sitting up, standing and cruising makes it worth celebrating with a photoshoot. The evidence of their growth; expressions, cheekiness and mannerisms are shown in these the photos from the milestone photoshoots that you’ve planned for them.

The most popular 1st year milestone sessions that our clients come to us for are the maternity; newborn and sitters sessions. Most parents who missed the newborn stage would plan for a 1 month baby shoot or a 3-4 months tummy time shoot just before parents return back to work after their parental leave.
