Why You Need To Do A Kindergarten Graduation Photoshoot?

Yes, you managed to complete your child’s Primary 1 Registration successfully!

That certainly calls for a celebration!

Your baby will be ready to move on to big school with bigger space, lots of classes and many more children. You can’t help but feel proud of what they have learnt and become in the first 6 years of their life.

You would have to agree that graduating from Kindergarten is definitely one of your child’s biggest milestone achieved to date.

Where Have All The Time Gone?

This is when reality sets in!

You realised that your child has grown so so much from the time you remember of them when they were a newborn baby. You feel that parenthood had accelerated time and wondered where all the time had gone…

The only hardcopy photograph that you might have of your child is their newborn photo or passport photo?

You start to wonder if you can freeze time or turn back the clock? Whether you should have tried to get some professional photos done for your child in between those years.

You are not alone!

We have been photographing families for the last 12 years, since 2009 and have heard and seen lots.

This is exactly the reason why we exist.

Is It Time To Celebrate?

Many studies have shown that celebrating milestones help give children a sense of accomplishment and pride.

With the kindergarten graduation ceremonies scaled down in recent times, many families have thought about ways to celebrate safely. Many clients whom we have talked to have actually thought about doing a professional family portrait for years!

Some have even told us that they can’t procrastinate any longer. They must get a proper family portrait done. What better time than to get the family together to celebrate their child’s graduation milestone with a Kindergarten Graduation Photoshoot while updating the extended family or family portrait at the same time!

As we all know, we make things happen when we are intentional and most, if not all of the time, we follow through the things that are booked into our calendar. Much so like a family trip or a staycation …

Is it time to celebrate? For sure, it’s always time!

Celebrate milestones, celebrate achievements,  celebrate life, appreciate what we have everyday and start taking action to make meaningful memories for your kids, your family.  Because time passes at an even faster speed once they enter Primary School. You don’t want to have that mum /parent guilt that you should have at least get a professional graduation and family portrait to mark this special milestone.

4 Reasons Why Graduation Photoshoot is a Big Deal | Graduation Family Photography

Finally, Yes, it’s mortar board time… Congratulations!

Many of you might be thinking of doing a graduation photoshoot, or simply been tasked by your parents to find a studio for this…The brief to you could be… “We need to get your graduation photoshoot done and update the family portrait to put up on the wall…please find a studio that can do that”

You scratch your head and think…”Erm.. I’m not sure if I want to do the photoshoot though….

For those of you who are looking for something more FUN while having some formal setting to please your parents… please read on…

It is easy to just dismiss the idea for graduation portrait photo shoot. However, Here are 4 reasons why you should totally do it!

4 Reasons Why Graduation Photoshoot Is A Big Deal

    1. Avoid Parents’ Nagging

Yes, we know, we have all been there and done that…       But really, doing this kills 3 birds with one stone! The shoot includes your solo graduation portrait, family portrait in both formal and semi-formal setting, and lastly your professional headshot. This is now so important as you need it for that linkedin profile photo and CV to increase your chances of being found and also for securing that meeting.

    2. Celebrate Your Achievements

We are often pushing ourselves too hard and often forget to celebrate small successes and achievements along the way. Going through the years of education, rushing to meet assignment deadlines, learning teamwork and presentation skills in school is no feat. Remember those late night oil that you’ve been burning during those days? It’s time to celebrate all your hard work! And celebrate it with your family, your rock.

Our youngest graduate to celebrate her graduation with us is a little girl whom we photographed since she was 3 years old. She came back when she was 6 Years old to celebrate her Kindergarten 2 graduation and family shoot before heading to K3 (ahem sorry… Its Primary 1). Scroll down to see her photos!

    3. Look Great on An Updated Family Portrait at Home

When was the last time you had your Family Portrait Done? Were you still little in that photo? Are all the family members still there? or there are more addition to the family?

If the family portrait at home isn’t exactly your favourite, it’s the perfect opportunity now to update your family pictures!

    4. Please Your Parents

They probably invested lots of their money on your studies, this is the least we can do for them as this is one of the moments parents are extremely proud of their children for achieving this milestone. This is probably one milestone with a wall portrait that will be a conversation piece whenever somebody comes over. Its also a milestone that parents feel they have achieved WITH you.

    Is That It?

End of studies is not the end of learning and achieving. In life, we learn to train ourselves to celebrate every achievements no matter how small or big, so we can continue to keep achieving. Not for anyone else, but for yourself.
This is a small formality which we either do it for ourselves, our parents or both… you can make it happen today by just giving us a call at 8717 1558 or email us at info@bambiniphoto.sg or Messenger Us or Whatsapp Us. We promise to get back to you soonest!

    No Graduation Gown? No Problem!

We do have a small collection of academic dress in the studio for clients to use for shoots in case your siblings who had graduated would like to wear them too!
