Celebrate Father’s Day – Family Photoshoot
Father’s Day celebration in 2021 is going to be different, mostly scaled down compared to before.
Dedicating this post to all fathers out there, men who are enablers, men who have provided, men who have taught, men who protect, men who spend their days constructing and reconstructing fatherhood.
Let us rewind and understand more about how fatherhood came to be.
Centuries ago, fathers primarily served as breadwinners, disciplinarians, someone who instilled moral and religious values – caring for children was left only to women. These days fatherhood takes on a more evolved role, gone are the days when fathers merely provided for the family financially.
Modern-day fathers come in many forms and we have been blessed to work alongside, get involved with and witness fatherhood through our family photography. To see a relationship between mother and child is heartwarming and special; yet when we witness the dynamics between father and child, it speaks for itself.
It is said that the greatest mark of a father is how he treats his children when no one is looking. As an observer and photographer, we notice the subtlety to capture the bonds between children and their fathers.
It is never easy to be a father, we’ve heard it from our clients. How clueless they were when they first started, where they do not know what hits them most of the time. It is scary and daunting, but rewarding at the same time. Fatherhood is not something to be learned in school but something you experience along the way with the birth of each child. Watching your child grow, noticing their quirks, realizing they have picked up your habits and growing together.
Naveen Jain once said that, “ Being a father has been, without a doubt, my greatest source of achievement, pride and inspiration. Fatherhood has taught me about unconditional love, reinforced the importance of giving back and taught me how to be a better person.”
His words cannot be more true.
So for this Father’s Day, do take the time to give thanks and acknowledge your father for what he has done and not.
They are the hands that hold you when you need the guidance. They are the ones who will come down and talk to your bullies. Their willpower and tenacity has put you through school. They are the ones to give you a piggyback ride. They have shown you the ropes.
To all the men who have shown us the ropes, we thank you.
We dedicate this to you, all fathers, dads, padre, abah, papa, papi, bapak.
I’ve done professional photos twice already with Bambini. It’s a great experience every time. And the photos they take are absolutely great quality! They are also very accommodating to my requests, and turn around time was fast. Totally worth every penny I paid. Great job Bambini! Keep it up! – Queenie, Jan 2021
This is my 3rd time engaging photography services from Bambini and my return visits are proof that they provide really good quality shots and service! My daughter is someone who is slow to warm up to but my assigned photographer, Syafiq managed to make her smile and laugh in the end. Love the photos alot and will definitely consider Bambini again for future family shoots! – Derrick & Crystal, Feb 2021
