Gather Your Kampung For Family Photoshoot

For all the things our families have done for us, be it big or small gestures, when we were younger or recently – sometimes we can’t thank them enough, even for just being there with us.

That’s what family is, always being there for and with you at the end of any day, and doing it all over again.

When someone asks “How is your family like?”, we can’t answer them at times because all we see are flashes of memories from different parts of our lives which made such a big impact on us that… we become speechless? All of a sudden we’re not sure how to string words together to describe our family, because all the bitterness and all the sweet memories mixed together, is quite  indescribable.

But you know how it feels – how your family is like. Words cant quite describe your family like how you feel.

But photos portray how you feel. Somehow though, photos really do say thousands of words. Cliche, I know! But that’s the truth behind why we become photographers. The amount of love and gratefulness that you feel towards your family, it shows in the photos. From how you treat each other during the shoot, how you smile with each other to your body language when you take photos with each other. And this still shows even though some families do not live together in one household anymore – maybe because they are separated by seas, circumstances or work. But when everyone gathers the whole kampung, you paint a perfect picture. Every individual playing their role that somehow ties the relationship into your unique family.

There’s no better gift and expression of gratitude than making a keepsake of the people who loves you and vice versa, and enjoying the shoot with each other – the core meaning and drive behind a reason to capture memories. Sometimes, this is why photos are a great way to express gratitude and love to the people you cherish, because they get to hold onto a tangible memory too.

So, gather your whole kampung! Bring your cousins from overseas, bring your siblings, bring everyone together once again for a mini gathering, and take memories while at it.

The impulse to save our recorded memories is a powerful testament that tells us much about the importance of photography in our lives, and also the desire to capture our most precious moments into images.

Photographs are a wonderful thing. When we are happy we like to look at them, to remember the joyous occasions. And we do the same thing when we’re feeling down or sad.

We scroll the photos on our social media account and reminisce upon photo albums that have keenly served as as a tangible memoir to help us remember essentially the great past times with people we care about. Also in a lot of cases, to remember the ones who have left us behind.

We couldn’t think of any person who would not like to be photographed. Maybe there are individuals out there, but perhaps their numbers are few to come.

Presenting someone with a photography session that they and their families can enjoy is thoroughly a rewarding thing. We have yet to come across any family who refuses to be photographed, in actuality, most would jump at the chance to have their moments captured.

It’s always a good time to create memories. Hold on and cherish your time with your loved ones, because time is gonna pass by quick. Top 8 Reasons Why Families Take Professional Family Photos

Lovely Gaze | Children Studio Photography

(You can see more of the family photographs by clicking here)

If you read the previous post about their family photoshoot, and I was saying about their minimalist outfits for the photoshoot. And when I was selecting images to do a feature blogpost for it, I honestly forgot the girls changed their outfits and here they are wearing white dresses!

Haha, point proven, not about the clothes.
What I really love and kept noticing from this series is really the gaze and look from their eyes.

Precious beautiful little girls <3

Dressy or Simple | Family Studio Photography

I’m a little extreme. Either I can be real minimalist and I go out dressed in all black, or I’m a little bit over the top like when a few of my friends complimented me last week saying I look like a princess in my outfit for the day – I had on this big poofy shimmery purple skirt (I was slightly embarassed by myself… hahaha)

Why was I talking about outfits again?

Yes, so I went one round just to say this, I really like what Charles and family came to the shoot in! Minimalist, just white.
The clothes doesn’t ‘fight’ with the people for attention! That’s the style of photography we prefer @ Bambini: neutral, earthy tones, natural.
You see their smiles not their clothes.

(Although, nothing wrong if you like something more dressy – I mean I honestly love dressy stuff too, I did go out in a shiny skirt and I wasn’t kidding when I say it was big… HA)

Whatever it is, at the end of it, it is your preference really! Dressy or simple – we can still get creative and what we want to do here at Bambini Photography is to give you our best to produce the best images we know how and still leave you with a wonderful experience and fun time! (Sounds very ambitious… But really, that’s what we hope to achieve and will do our best for it! :D)

And thank you Charles and family! For leaving us a facebook review too… Appreciate that so much, really! :)

so much fun with my lil’ bro | Newborn Home Photography

(www.bambiniphoto.sg)It was so fun photographing sibling shots for these two, mummy prepared several dresses for big sis here so we can pick and choose what was suitable – and we ended up in 4 different dresses just for the sibling shots! (This doesn’t include the last change of clothing she had for the family photos towards the end of the photoshoot)

Usually we would stick to one outfit for sibling and family shots, but each time I wanted to change a set-up to take individual newborn photos, we got big sis here to change too, so it was back-to-back newborn shots, sibling shots, newborn shots, sibling shots – yeaa… you get the idea.

The whole session went so smoothly and it took up the same amount of time newborn photoshoots  would (2-3 hours), and while baby bro was feeding we even got to captured some individual shots of big sis. (nice)
